A native of the United Kingdom, Nigel moved to West Milford, Passaic County, New Jersey in 1986, then spent 20 years in River Edge, Bergen County, New Jersey. He moved back to the natural beauty of West Milford in 2010, where he enjoys all the lakes, hills, country living and serenity that Passaic county has to offer. Nigel’s long-time residency in northern New Jersey gives him invaluable knowledge of the area’s home building standards and practices.

After a 32-year career in the home décor industry, Nigel decided to go beneath the surface of a home, and became a New Jersey Licensed Home Inspector in 2005. He founded Total Home Inspection Services that same year and built the finest team of home inspectors and inspection specialists in the industry. We said goodbye to our friend and founder in April of 2026, but we are proud to carry on his legacy by continuing to give our clients and real estate partners exceptional inspection services.
